Marine City Master Plan Update Marine City Master Plan UpdateThe St. Clair County Metropolitan Planning Commission is assisting the Marine City Planning Commission with the update of the Marine City Master Plan, which was last updated in 2004.
This site will be updated with information about public input meetings, the planning proces, and drafts or copies of plan documents and presentations.

COMMUNITY VISIONING SESSION - JUNE 23, 2010 On June 23rd, MPC staff held a visioning session at the Washington Life Center with community residents, city commissioners, and planning commissioners to create a vision and develop goals for the Master Plan. The visioning session was very productive and it generated many good ideas for the future of the city. MPC staff gave an overview of some of the demographic and economic trends that are influencing the city and highlighted key trends related to "The New Economy” that will have direct impacts on the state and on Marine City. Following the brief overview on trends, attendees took part in three visioning exercises in small groups to brainstorm various ideas and concepts for the community. MASTER PLAN UPDATE - DRAFT DOCUMENTS To view the draft versions of the various Master Plan chapters as they are updated, click on the links below. All files are in PDF Format and will require the Adobe Acrobat Reader. At this point, some of the drafts contain text only and other include photos and maps. Each draft will be updated as revisions are made by the Marine City Planning Commission.
