St. Clair County: Go Green and 'Discover the Blue'

Members:

Objective – To recruit alternative energy industries to St. Clair County through the creation of a community-wide culture of ‘Green’ demonstrated through policy support and investment in the development of alternative energy and energy efficiency.

 Mission – Create the necessary organizational structure that results in effective community support for creating economic opportunities in the area of alternative energy and energy efficiencies.     

The group plans to develop a series of events next year designed to: 

   1.      Raise awareness of the investments already being made in the community.

   2.      Bring together existing organizations that can help to create a culture of ‘Green’ that is so important to marketing the County.

   3.      That recognizes those businesses that have contributed to the ‘Greening’ of our local economy.
